What? No Fish!

frog.jpg

I would like to tell you that every time I go fishing I catch fish. unfortunately not so. It doesn’t happen very often but there are times and circumstances that it does happen. Our last fishing trip was a fish disaster. We had 2 steady days of rain and cool weather. I should of waited a couple days for the weather changes to settle in. But I had been busy and just wanted to get out and do some fishing. And to make maters even worse the Power Company that controls the reservoir where we fish started to drain it.So when you have tried every thing and the fish don’t bite- what do you do? Enjoy what is around you. Here are some pictures we took on this outing. I hope you have a great Holiday. If you do any fishing I wish you the best of Luck.falls.jpg

Well that’s an awful news for you to not catch some fish. Anyway I really like the frog photo and do you mind if I copy it and use it for my Screen saver?

We all have those kind of days but even a slow day catching isn’t all bad when your in a spot that nice , great pic’s. Makes a real nice relaxing day when you can sit around in that atmosphere , so anyday there is a good day.

Yeah half the pleasure is just “getting out there”. At least you get to enjoy the scenery and get some pics to be proud of.

That totally happened to my sister - but the opposite. She went on a company fishing trip and it was her first time fishing. Her fishing guide must have been tying the right bait because she caught about 5 fish and the gal next to her did not catch any! The older lawyers did not like being shown up by the new female Associate who’d never been fly fishing before!

Hehe.

Emily

P.S. I also really like the frog picture.

Great buddy! every time you catch the fish, believe i am very poor in fishing!tell me one thing How do I keep a fish alive when fishing from shore, keeping it fresh while I fish during the day?

Great Question.
I use a live basket in a boat or from shore. Most fisherman dont use a live basket from shore-it is well worth the extra effort to keep the fish fresh.

Thanks for the comment

I took my eledest daughter fishing about 4 months ago (shes 8) It was a massive mistake as we live in Ireland and the weather is poor at the best of times. Within an hour she wantes to go home and told me in no uncertain terms that it was the most boring thing she had ever done.
