Fishing for commercial purposes has become a big business. This man helps them better to understand about fishing and their uses. Thanks a lot for the post.

I’ve always wanted to try ice fishing, looks like a lot of fun. Of course, I’d better learn regular fishing first. Nice post.

I enjoy fishing…but ice fishing…not so much. Too cold for my taste! Though I must admit…you look like you are having a good time. Guess I shouldn’t “knock it til I try it!”

I love fishing and I love the cold… so I’ve always wanted to try ice fishing. I live in the south though and unfortunately, it just doesn’t get cold enough for our lakes to freeze over.

Maybe I’ll have to take a trip to Michigan. :-)

I have always wanted to go ice fishing! Here in Charleston, SC we obviously don’t get the opportunity but it sounds amazing.

I understand the need to fish very well - I love living where I am because I can avoid the ice, but if I were in Michigan, you can bet your frozen but I’d be sitting right next to you!

I like frying freshly caught fish. They are tastier than the market-bought variety. How I wish I can fish in your place :D

Is it starting to warm up yet? Or, are you still having to drill holes in the ice to get at the fish. It’s gotten really nice here. The air and water have warmed up and the fish are active. they be hungry!

Free fishing is really smart, but is it really safe fishing on a melting snow? I am not really a good fish catcher but I’d like to try it maybe next year. For now , I just enjoy fishing on my grandfathers lake house. Quite boring but I enjoy doing it with my friends.

I grew up Ice fishing in the winter and found it tough with out all of the right equipment.

One of the best places for a guided trout fishing experience is Guided Trout Fishing.

Thanks for spreading the word on fishing.

Hi, you built a great site here. About your post, Im just wondering if its hard to fish in the cold. I have always done it near a beach, so I dont know if its harder.

Oh Man! That looks awesome! I have relatives in Wisconsin, but I’ve never been to the midwest in the Winter. I will have to put this on my list of fun things to try! I may save on the fishing, but I’ll have to invest the difference in a new COAT! :)

Being from michigan this is my favorite sport, But you must remember to check the thickness of the ice! This can change ten feet away, so be careful and have fun on the ice.
