Call of the Wild

wolf

I just had to post this.

We have a lot of wolfs in this area but we don’t see them very often. They are protected. The fact is if you shot one you might do more jail time then if you robbed a bank. This picture was taken with a remote camera in an area just outside of town.

Very nice post.Wolf is also having the same behavior as dog. So we don’t need to afraid. Even at the very near to wolf, we could take photo.

It is amazing how much land is not in private hands in the US.

We live on less than 20% of the available ground. Wild life habitats, mountainous regions, deserts, military facilities, municipal properties and lands, national forests occupy the rest.

Some pieces on the list may fall into more than one category.

The fact is though, there is plenty of land for our wildlife friends to survive.

The Federal Government sets aside more lands every year looking ahead to our reproductive proclivities, and making sure that we always have enough land to satisfy the urge to escape the civilization we have created with our numbers.

Not too far in the past, the Federal Government even set aside a huge section of the ocean in the Hawaiian Island area as protected. Along with these set asides also comes the responsibility for policing them. The contiguous 48 are relatively easy. The Pacific Ocean not so much I wouldn’t think.

Wow… even if I am a mile away, I would be too scared to take a picture of the wolf. I’m afraid it will attack me..

I’ve seen a wolf when I was a kid but not afraid of it. It looked like our doggie…

I think some wild animals can live in peace with humans, If they are not bothered. This is one good example & I agree with the person above, Wolves have same behavior as dogs so there is no need to afraid of them.

So if they’re protected does that mean someone else is pushing these wolves to the dark so others won’t get to see them that much? Unfortunately wolves are getting really extinct now due to abusive hunters. It’s nice to have a law that protects these creatures. By the way, nice shot you got right there. At least you won’t go to jail for that “shot” :D

Hi it is a nice article. Indeed wolfs are rare we cannot find it now. There are people called wolf keeper in my country, it’s a association, they take care of wolf. We cannot take photos of wolf, flesh light scares them and they become aggressive then they starts biting people. Thanks for uploading the image.
